WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP? HORNETS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (HDP)

You’ve trained in our Hornets Academy Skills Sessions. You’re playing games in our local competition. But you want to take your game to the next level? The HDP Sessions & HDP Holiday Camps are designed for LOCAL COMPETITION athletes who are looking to take the next step. Conducted all year round, each session has been  designed to gradually develop both individual and team fundamentals and is managed by a group of specialty coaches, trained in refining and enhancing skills.  HDP Sessions are booked on term based, each term includes 9 sessions. Holiday Camps are released mid-term for each holiday period.

Sharpen your basketball IQ with tailored drills and strategies specific to your position—whether you’re running the floor as a guard or dominating the paint as a post.

Experience the intensity and structure of a real team session. Learn how to compete, communicate, and contribute within a team system.

Bring your own ball (name clearly marked). Find out more about what basketball size is best for you in the FAQ’s here. 

Bring a water bottle (name clearly marked).

Reversible singlet, shorts and runners.

Participants are welcome to wear a long sleeve t-shirt under singlet during colder weather.

Basketballs are available to borrow if required. Please return at the end of session.
