ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER

HILLS BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION IS A PROUD SUPPORTER OF THE $50 ACTIVE KIDS REBATE INITIATIVE AND IS AN APPROVED PROVIDER.

The NSW Government Active Kids program aims to increase participation of school-enrolled children in sport and physical activity by providing parents with vouchers to help cover the cost of registration and membership fees.

Active Kids vouchers can be redeemed online only through Hills Basketball Association’s payment platform. Please note that you CAN NOT redeem after purchase, so please ensure you enter at the time of online purchase.

If you experience any issues with the online payment platform using your Active Kids voucher, our data maybe different to Services NSW. Please phone the stadium to confirm name & date of birth prior to submitting.

The NSW Government will provide $50 voucher to parents/guardians of school enrolled children. The $50 voucher can be used for registration and participation costs for sport and fitness activities.The initiative aims to reduce barriers to participation and help change the physical activity behaviours of children and young people in NSW.

Each year parents/guardians/carers with legal responsibility of an eligible child resident in NSW will be able to download a voucher from an online platform. The platform will be run by Service NSW and can be accessed through https://sport.nsw.gov.au/sectordevelopment/activekids

The voucher can be used ONLINE for the following activities at Hills Basketball Association:

  • Training programs conducted for 8 weeks+
  • Player Registration (Miniball, Junior, Senior). Not applicable to affiliation fees.
  • Local Competition Court Fees
  • Representative Fees

Please note the following rules from Office of Sport & Services NSW:

  • Vouchers cannot be split between multiple clubs or registrations
  • The voucher can only be used on one transaction. If paying an account less than $50 you are unable to claim the full $50.
  • Please note that vouchers are non-refundable or transferable.

Every child (4.5 – 18 years’ old) enrolled in school from Kindergarten to Year 12 is eligible. This includes those who are home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW.

Vouchers provided are valid for redemption during the current calendar year activity program. Vouchers shall expire at the end of the calendar year.
