SHOES 4 PLANET EARTH

SHOES 4 PLANET EARTH is an Australian based non-for-profit organisation started in 2009 by people who love to run and want to give something back.
 
Hornets financial and shoe donations have provided over 600 pairs of feet the support they need all over Australia. We thank you very much for your contribution.
 
Where do your shoes go? Once your shoes are received we package and send them to homeless shelters, youth and female crisis centre, indigenous community sporting groups, orphanages, churches, flood and other disaster victims, African communities and many, many more.

* Drop off your shoes between 4pm-7pm on Saturday 6th July & receive FREE entry to HORNETS vs COMETS | Women at 5.30pm, Men at 7.30pm.

For those who can’t drop off over the weekend, a collection box will be available at Hills Basketball Stadium foyer from Mon 1 July – Fri 5 July.

How You Can Help!! Donate your shoes (no holes, good soles and clean) and tied together, plus a gold coin donation.

Get the word out to your friends, neighbours and family to start collecting shoes – remember we need shoes in good condition (no holes, good soles and clean) and tied together.

Volunteers to help manage the collection. We are looking for volunteers to donate 2 hours of their time on either Saturday 6th July (9am-4pm) & Sunday 7th July (9am-4pm). Email zoe@hillshornets.com.au with date & time you’re available.
