Hornets Junior Representative OPEN TRIALS are for athletes born 2010-2017. The Open Trials are for external representative and local competition athletes who want to represent the Hornets in 2026.
Hornets Junior Representative OPEN TRIALS are for athletes born 2009-2016 (details below). The Open Trials are for external representative and local competition athletes who want to represent the Hornets in 2025. Athletes will attend week 1 of trials on Sunday, 28 September 2025. From these trials, athletes will be invited to participate in Week 2. Athletes/parents/carers must read the Hornets Handbook before registering for Trials. All details regarding the selection process, commitment, and requirements are available in the Handbook.

OPEN TRIALS (External Representative Players and Local Competition Players)
Athletes from OPEN TRIALS will be selected to attend Week 2 of Trials (INVITE ONLY). Participants will be emailed the outcome of their trial. Please ensure details are correct when completing registration forms. If invited to participate further in the trial process, athletes should be aware of and available for additional sessions or until the team(s) have been selected. A list of successful athletes through from Week 2 onwards will be published on the HBA website www.hillshornets.com.au/hornets/reptrials by 5 pm on Tuesday following trials.
