As Hills Basketball Association reaches another milestone, we find ourselves once again in a position of needing more officials. With record numbers, the Winter 2022 season will require us to officiate over 400 games per week across our venues. And with the number of Hornets officials who have been recognised at State, National and International level, the demands on our officials department are enormous.

THIS IS WHERE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP! While we know you love to play, we hope some of you will consider joining us as a Referee. You’ve played, you know the role, it can be tough but also very rewarding. Refereeing is fun, improves your understanding of the game and lets you give back to the community, all while keeping fit and earning money. Players who know the game, are the easiest to train! We have two courses coming up designed especially for our adult players.
