The Hills Hornets played our first ever games of basketball at the Dural Recreation Centre back in 1984. In 2018, the Hills Basketball Association took over the venue and, in close partnership with The Hills Shire Council, invested over $100,000 of Association funds to renovate and refurbish the facility.

The multipurpose venue offers one full size basketball court with 6 backboards, making it the perfect training venue. While also being suitable for other sports like Futsal, Wheelchair Sports, Table Tennis and Floorball.

The arena offers one full size basketball court with large run off areas. The sports hall boasts a floor area measuring 35 x 22 metres and a clear working height of 8 metres.There are six (6) backboards in the sports hall, making it ideal as a training venue. There are three (3) squash courts available for hire and a gymnasium. The layout enables the stadium to be an ideal training or sports education centre for all standards of athletes & is the perfect venue for trade shows or functions.

Reception – located at the entrance of the facility; acts as the control area in conducting an event. Also large enough to host post game functions and the like.

Kitchen – An industrial kitchen is available for hire, please call or email for further information.

Showers and change rooms – available on the ground level.
