U14 BOYS PREMIER QUALIFY FOR U14 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to the Hills Hornets Under 14 Boys Premier who have qualified for the 2021 Under 14 Club Championships. We shared the announcement from Basketball NSW last week, but here is the moment where our Representative Manager Christie Graham told the team the news.

The 2021 Australian U14 Club Championships are set to be held from 27 September to the 2 October 2021 at Casey Stadium in the City of Casey in Melbourne, Victoria. This is an incredible achievement for the team, as they make the top 24 teams in Australia, who will come together and battle it out to find out who is the best team in the country.
UPDATE: The trivia night is still going ahead! Since organising this event, we have received news that the Australian Championships have been cancelled. We will still be hosting the night, with any money raised going towards the gear organised for the team. We hope the gear can help alleviate some of the disappointment for the boys of the tournament being cancelled, and act as a memento of their achievement. We also hope with the prior effort put into organising the event, we can still provide a fun night during this lockdown for everyone who joins.

Hills Hornets U14 Boys Premier Virtual Trivia Night

Come and join us for a Virtual Trivia Night! Compete together as a household and win prizes along the way.

The Hills Hornets U14P have qualified for the 2021 Australian U14 Club Championships. This is a fantastic achievement, with the tournament hosting the top 24 teams in the country. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity, as the Australian Club Championships is only for U14 teams.

Despite uncertainty surrounding the tournament due to COVID-19, we are looking to raise money in the hope the tournament goes ahead or gets rescheduled. In the likely event that the tournament does not proceed we would still like to raise money for tournament gear for the team to celebrate their achievement and as a memento. Hopefully this will help alleviate some of the disappointment of not competing if the tournament does not proceed.
