SPORTING SCHOOLS GOVERNMENT FUNDING | We want to bring Basketball to your school and the government will pay all costs associated, including coaches and equipment. It’s so simple to apply, so please don’t miss out! Funding options available online. You can apply for up to $3,600 per term (Primary School) and $2,500 per term (Secondary Yr7 & Yr8).

  1. Simply register Your School – https://portal.sportingschools.gov.au/schools/register-user/
  2. Apply for funding online (You can apply for up to $3,600 per term (Primary School) and $2,500 per term (Secondary Yr7 & Yr8)
  3. Once approved, select BASKETBALL AUSTRALIA and submit form.
  4. BASKETBALL NSW will be in touch to provide a HILLS BASKETBALL accredited coach(es) for your program.

Funding applications are available during specific periods, so please put a reminder in your calendar to apply.

  • Term 1, 2023: 8am AEDT Monday 7 November, 2022 – 5pm AEDT Friday 18 November, 2022

  • Term 2, 2023: 8am AEDT Monday 27 February, 2023 – 5pm AEDT Friday 10 March, 2023

  • Term 3, 2023: 8am AEST Monday 22 May, 2023 – 8pm AEST Friday 2 June, 2023

  • Term 4, 2023: 8am AEST Monday 14 August, 2023 – 8pm AEST Friday 25 August, 2023
