WALKING BASKETBALL

WALKING BASKETBALL is for participants across all ages, genders and abilities and helps to maintain and improve health and decrease risk factors associated with sedentary behaviour.  Whether you played years ago and want to get back into it, have never touched a ball or want to give something less strenuous a go, Walking Basketball could be the sport for you.

Walking Basketball involves 45 minutes of light exercise and 45 minutes of socialising. There is no running or jumping involved and is perfect for older players, those coming back from injury or just trying to avoid pressure on the joints. No prerequisites required.

** Please note that in Term 1 Friday & Saturday classes run for 8 weeks only due to Easter. Cost reduced accordingly.


Term 2 2026 | Fri 1st May – Sat 4th July 2026 | Bookings online 12n Tue 10 Mar 2026

** Please note there are no classes on Fri 5/6 – Mon 8/6 due to the June Long Weekend. Monday classes will run for 8 weeks only in Term 2.


Term 3 2026 | Mon 20th July – Sat 19th Sep 2026 | Bookings online 12n Tue 9 June 2026


Term 4 2026 | Mon 12th Oct – Sat 12th Dec 2026 | Bookings online 12n Tue 25 Aug 2026

Please note that sessions will be held at Bernie Mullane Sports Complex on 26th May, 23rd June and 24 November 2026.

$50 per term (9 sessions). Includes session & morning tea.

It is suggested that all participants pay the $20.00 annual registration fee. Registration includes ‘Individual Player Injury Insurance’ and Affiliation to Basketball NSW.
