HORNETS QUALIFY FOR 3X3 NATIONAL CHAMPS

Last weekend, Hills Basketball sent 14 of our 3×3 Representative teams to Bankstown to compete in the 3×3 Big Hustle State Tournament. After our teams qualified as the top 53 in the State, they each then ranked in the top 3 of their age group, progressing them to the National Championships in April.

A huge congratulations to the teams success. This marks the second year of our 3×3 Representative teams and we cannot wait to see how far they will go. 3×3 Basketball is still emerging, but the possibilities are endless for our athletes. 

COMPETITION RESULTS

U12 

12 Girls Red Played off with 12 Girls Green for 3rd & 4th and won. Both teams have now qualified for the National event.

12 Boys Red Won the 3 v 4 playoff, earning them a spot at the National event.

12 Boys Green Have already qualified for the National event.

U14

14 Girls Red Came 4th, but will also attend Nationals later this year.

14 Girls Green Won the Grand Final and crowned State Champs, earning their spot at Nationals.

14 Boys Red Fell short in the Grand Final, earning them 2nd place and a spot at Nationals.

14 Boys Green Placed 4th after already earning a Nationals bid.

U16

16 Girls Green Won 3 v 4th playoff, earning a spot at the National Championships

16 Girls Red Automatically qualified for the National Championships

16 Boys Red Fell short in the Grand Final, earning them 2nd place and a spot at Nationals.

16 Boys Green Placed 4th after already earning a Nationals bid.

U18

Both 18 Girls teams have already qualified for the National event.
