3X3 REPRESENTATIVE PROGRAM
Hills Basketball Association is excited to continue the 3X3 Representative Program in 2022/2023. With 3×3 quickly growing as a sport, we’re proud to offer our athletes a development pathway that will allow them to play in State Qualifier, State & National Events. Each Age Group will consist of a 3X3 Representative Team, 3X3 Development Team & 3X3 Development Players.
3×3 REPRESENTATIVE TEAMS
The 3X3 Representative teams will train periodically from October – April and have a guaranteed entry into the 3X3 Hustle National event in April 2023 (Exact Date & Venue TBC). On top of this, they will also participate in the State Qualifier events on Sat Nov 5 (Mt Druitt) & Sat Dec 3 (Wollongong), with hopes of qualifying for the NSW State Event in January 2023 (Exact Date & Venue TBC).
Selection in the 3X3 Representative team will incur a $300 levy which will cover all training sessions, camps, coaching, team registration costs & extra tournaments organised by HBA. *Please note that travel & accommodation are not included within this fee.
3×3 DEVELOPMENT TEAMS
The 3X3 Development teams will train periodically from October – April. On top of this, they will also participate in the State Qualifier events on Sat Nov 5 (Mt Druitt) & Sat Dec 3 (Wollongong), with hopes of qualifying for the NSW State Event in January 2023 (Exact Date & Venue TBC).
3×3 Development teams do not have an auto qualification for the National event, however can qualify themselves through the State event, or through the 3X3 Team earning a qualification through the State event (resulting in two qualifications for the age group).
Selection in the 3X3 Development team will incur a $260 levy which will cover all training sessions, camps, coaching, team registration costs & extra tournaments organised by HBA. *Please note that travel & accommodation are not included within this fee.
3×3 DEVELOPMENT PLAYERS
Whilst 3X3 Development players won’t be entered into any official tournaments, they will train from October – April. 3X3 Development Players will be elevated into teams for tournaments in the result of absence or injury.
Selection as a 3X3 Development Player will incur a $150 levy which will cover all training sessions, camps & coaching.
