Hills Basketball has suspended most activities including Rep training and both the Hills Basketball Stadium (Hills Hornets – Castle Hill) and the Dural Recreation Centre (Hills Hornets – Dural) are closed to the public until further notice.
Our doors might be closed, but our Hornets at Home Sessions and Representative Zoom Training Sessions are keeping basketball going NON STOP. We have been working hard to make sure we have as much content as possible for all of our Hills Hornets Community.
I am sure you are all very excited about the New South Wales Government’s most recent announcement of some gradual easing of restrictions that will come into effect from the 15th of May.
With these restrictions changing we thought we would update everyone on HBA’s current policy regarding face to face trainings.
HBA is not currently in a position to organise nor endorse team training sessions which involve physical gatherings. Also please note that Insurance cover for any such activity is unclear at this stage.
We understand everyone’s desire to get back to basketball and we’re keen to get back ASAP, however any basketball activity perceived to be flouting the rules could jeopardise a return to more regular activities.
Please be patient, respectful of the rules, and the community so that we can continue to move forward to the return of community sport.
